Circle T Council feels that every girl should be offered the opportunity to participate in enriching program activities. She can still be a Girl Scout and not be affiliated with a troop. In this council, those non-troop-affiliated girls are called Lone Stars.

Who can help a Lone Star?
Without a Girl Scout leader to guide her, a parent or other adult mentor will need to help a Lone Star work on some of the Girl Scout awards and watch council publications for appropriate activities. The adult is not required to take Girl Scout training, but would find some of the training courses helpful. Circle T Council staff is available to assist with program ideas and to answer questions. How can you be a Lone Star?
Submit an online Girl Scout interest form, or get a membership registration form from the nearest Girl Scout Shop , enclose a check for $10.00 to Circle T Council and return it to the Girl Scout Center. If your parent wishes to join, ask her to complete the same process. Your registration will ensure that you receive Circle T publications. Your name will be included in the list of Lone Stars provided to program event directors so that they may include you in Community activities.
