Camp Plus! .
Have you ever been frustrated that you didn’t have time to take a canoe or archery training course, even though you really want to provide these activities for your girls? Have you ever wished that experts were on hand at camp to provide extra opportunities for your girls? Your wish has come true!
Camp Plus is troop camping with volunteers offering program opportunities for a nominal fee per activity per girl. Previous camp plus programs offered was archery, swimming, challenge course, arts & crafts and outdoor games. The finalized camp plus programs will be emailed to the leaders to sign up.
Troops still need to send in a completed Troop Camping Application and be selected through the normal camp draw system. Troops will still be responsible for their own meals and adult supervision. Camp Plus will simply provide skilled volunteers as an option for Saturday activities.
To best utilize the camp and serve the maximum number of girls, troop camping during Camp Plus weekends is only open to troops who are buddy camping and/or willing to buddy camp. Also, buddy camping can add more fun for your girls, cost sharing, and your girls could get a Buddy Camp Patch, too!
